Default Vectra C SRi 2006 Front brake pads

Hi-need to change pads soon and thinking of upgrading to EBC, but when I've searched for my reg/model it says not suitable for sports chassis? I'd assumed front brake pads for the engine size/year would all be the same? And anyway what is a sports chassis? Other than the VXR, which I don't think was about in 2006, it could only be the SRi couldn't it?

    Stick with gm pads too!!

After market ones sometimes have a bit too much play in them as I found out

You get a lovely noise every time you put your foot on the brake when the pads rattles around

You're correct - the disks/pads each Vectra has depends only on the engine size, regardless of sports chassis or otherwise.

Don't have any problems with my aftermarket front pads?, I only went from vx ones after changing the rears which are genuine & are cheap crap made in Taiwan, had the car 8yrs from new & they will be lucky to last 1/4 of time the factory pads lasted at the VERY MOST!.
