Default Face lift Head light bulb

I have had my car for just over 2 years, and since getting it last night was the first time one of my bulbs have blown.

It was one of the main headlights.
I have tried to remove it, but due to inexperience I could only take off the back cover.

Can someone please tell me how to remove the bulb and replace as I donít want to break it if I do it wrong.

Also would this work as a replacement?

    Thanks

Removing cover is first step, I was in the same boat as you, i thought there was a clip to hold it in place but there were none.

It just comes out if u carefully pull outwards, then replace bulbs, (best to replace both sides do they both last roughly the same time) don't get cheap type bulbs, as in the past, going over humps cause it to fail!

    Hope that helps?

Just pull of out, have a look carefully u'll see notings holding it but a curve acting like a side clip but pulls out, wiggle or such, it will pull out. Any good h7 bulbs will do but I bought a 100w I've white in hope to brighten the lights up but no it didn't do much. I got my own kit I activated xenon to turn off voltage limitation to headlights but didn't change a thing tho.

But I'm seriously thinking about hid kit but since the plastic front is thin and risk melting it! Lol

Yeah, any h7 but not cheap kind. What u're looking at on eBay seems reasonable but make sure it's not painted blue as one I bought the seller lied saying natural blue glass but was painted, it burnt the paint and made light dark cos of smoke recoding leaving soot on lens! So check that out.

    Thanks for the advice.

If I were to get this set would they not throw up an error on the dash to say the bulb is not working?
