    Default Auto dim mirror help

    Installing it in car now when I have it down next to me cover the rear sensor it dims now if I put it to windscreen and hold the sensor it don't dim wtf any one help

    Cover rear sensor and shine a torch on the front one.

    Not working mate dose it matter that only connected the brown and black wire

    Its a plug in loom, not sure what you mean.

    I haven't got the loam and have cut the plug off and connecting the power 12v to a ingnition and the black to ground works perfect wen holding the mirror soon as put it at windscreen don't work

    I had the same trouble, I wasn't covering the rear sensor enough, worked better when I put a big piece of leccy tape over it and a torch on the front sensor. Or wait till its dark and shine the torch!

    Can anyone tell bout about the mirror if the rear sensor is coverd it dims so what does the front one do if it's already dimmed when dark

    Rear sensor tells the mirror whether it's day time or night time.
    Front sensor (mirror side) picks up headlights from cars behind you and darkens the glass (only if the rear sensor knows it's night time).

    Can be a pain driving through street lit towns sometimes as it fools the rear sensor into thinking it's day time and doesn't darken the mirror if someone behind is dazzling you.
