    Default Couple of questions?????

    A couple of things......

    1. Where can i get a good deal on some nice shiny door pins?

    2. How much are you guys paying for spraying /fitting of front lower spoiler and rear spoiler? I'm having mine done next week and i'm paying £300! He is supposed to be the best in my area and fits all the kits for the local VX dealer too. I'm told him i wanted a proper job as the car is only 10 months old. Is this cheap or dear????? Comes with a guarantee as well.

£300 for painting and fitting both front and rear is a reasonable price if the quality is good.

front lower spolier takes 30 mins to fit and you dont need any mechanical knowledge, its that easy. Weve done a 'how to' on this site. The rear spoiler again is easy to fit if you take your time and mark it all out on masking tape and double check all the hole poistions before you drill.

Painting cost? i paid £35 for my front, and £40 for my rear. That was a freindly local place who did them inbetween big jobs, eg on dinner times etc

I got some of those 'copy' door pins from ebay (its the same guy) and must say, i'd never tell anyone to buy irmscher ones now. They are top quality, even better than the genuine thing. He even includes a little allen key! Highly recomended. (again we have a how-to in the how to section)

    I paid -

Front Spoiler - £120 sprayed and fitted
Rear Wing - £150 sprayed and fitted.

This was at a VX bodyshop.

    Hello all,

Just to mention one thing as far as wheels are concerned.

When you have tyres replaced watch the fitter like a Hawk and I mean like a Hawk, if it were me I would walk round the car ensuring that everyone knows the condition of the wheels.

The reason is tyre fitters can and frequently do enflict serious damage or our wheels, my son had all 4 wheels damaged and zero compensation and he is not alone.

    You have been warned.

    Bryan
