Default Can I get away with the Decat???

    Hi all

Just bought a scorpion exhaust system and got a Decat pipe

Now I know I'm probably going to get mixed answers here but here goes...

Can I get away with the Decat pipe fitted for an mot on my 1.9 cdti 150 under the new mot rules?

    Thanks in advance

In brief, no. Any change to the exhaust system where it's removed SHOULD be a fail but it seems to be dependent on the tester.

If it's the cat that comes off of the turbo well I wouldn't worry about it as the underdtray hides that anyway.

Done the De-Cat on my car I just Knocked its guts out and re-fitted the flexi and empty cat box back on the car. It still looks standard so no issues with MOT.
