Two questions before next step.

I in a 1.8 Exclusive and am planning my next mod.

I have just done the air box and filter but want to do somthing with the exhaust.
In an ideal world, I would like an oval tail pipe with only a subtle noise. As the exclusive doesnt have the bumper cut outs, I want one that hangs just below. Any ideas please?

Also, I am looking for a set of 17s but don't really want to lower the car. Will it just look like a monster truck or will it ride at an ok height? I can change spring if I need to but would rather not for now.

I want the car looking tidy whilst keeping it subtle. I have alot to pay out to repair some recent body damage, so am working to a budget.

Any advice would be most welcome. (as long as it isn't just to get a new car lol)

Oh and I forgot to mention, I am trying to get it sorted before baby arrives. She is 3 days late...

If it was me I'd fit a normal exhaust and just cut the bumper, neatly... Or get a place to just weld a tip on your box.

As for 17's just look on auto trader for standard sri's, they all have 17's and are 15mm lower then yours and still they look high IMO.

Would a standard Sri exhaust be able to hang a little lower so it was under the bumper maybe?

Anythings possible, you could cable tie some rubbers together so it sits lower off the back hangers...

As for wheels do you think yours sits high now? As any wheel change will just have same gap as the rolling circumference will be the same to make sure speedo stays true... Unless you get 17's and get a bigger profile tyre.

Hi , I've a exclusive too and have made changes since coming here. 17" will look fine on it as mine came standard with them. A bit higher than the SRI but grand and comfortable ride which is what you want for the baby. As for your back bumper, it just the bottom skirt/trim that's different. Click it off the bumper and get yourself a VXR trim and click it on.
