mmmmmmmm it is but its hard stuff to get off, try not to snap the spoiler. You could try to put a slim blade under it and move it along nice and slow to free the bond.
And its likely to make a right mess of the rear door as well.
I've used cheese wire before to remove a spoiler its the stuff windscreen fitters use to remove windscreens that are bonded on
i removed the spoiler ive now got on mine from a tailgate and believe me it
takes hours,i used everything inc cheese wire but the problem youve got is
were the top of the tailgate bends over to the rear glass as thats were the
wire seems to get stuck and it also cuts into the tailgate
i managed to loosen the top and some of the botton but round were the
brakelight area is then i ended up inserting a wood saw to cut the bonding
around that part of the spoiler,i did end up repairing some areas of the
spoiler but after hours at it then it gave and came in 1 piece
oh just another tip,it helps alot if the spoiler is heated up along the edges to soften it
you can use a hair dryer or fan heater etc

I purchased a roof spoiler off of eBay that had been removed with cheese wire .... Too me a week to sort out the Damage that it had prior to prepping and spraying
It can be done ... But cleaning off the old sickaflex takes an age ... And the potential to get it al wrong is very high
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
Thanks for all your comments.
It's helped me make my mind up that I should steer clear of a second hand one thats already fitted to another car.
Guess I'll have to keep my eye out on ebay for one at a reasonable price and not the extortionate amount Irmscher charge!!!
