Default Been Cleaning my Black Beauties!!!!

Being as the weathermen got it wrong again, supposed to be raining today and it was sunshine!! I took the opportunity to wash and polish both cars!!!

They look horrible when they are dirty, but in my eyes, brilliant when they re clean!!!

So they should say clean for about..........1 hour!!

    Looks great Matt

You're a brave man getting 2 black cars......they'll take some cleaning eh

    What products did you use?

To make it easier you might want to put on some sealant or a wax or both, then just hose down a couple of time a week end hey presto the just waxed look again eh

    Hi Matt,

I take it was AG SRP polish yeah?.........SRP like most polish is abrasive which is why you should only polish twice a year, me I do a pre winter detail then a post winter detail these are the only times my car gets polished.

If you want to stick with AG then apply AG EGP (sealant) now and again although I would suggest at leat a couple of coats for good protection.

Alternatively, and in my opinion better, I would apply over the above either Megs #16 or Collinite 476s (both waxes) then invest in some spray wax and use this by way of an occasional top up, although I just go with wax all the time myself and normally use Megs #16 or P21s during the summer and Collinite during the winter, but at the mo I have Zymol Destiny on.......if you fancy this it will set you back £484 + P&P per jar

So in short the choices are: -

AG SRP, AG EGP x 2.............or..............SRP, EGP then a wax

    Bryan

PS in place of EGP I use Megs #21.............oh and you did ask eh
