    Default broken loom

Is it easy to repair a broken roof loom? Reason I ask is I've just fitted an auto dim mirror loom and noticed that the rain sensor loom is broken from the main loom but has been taped up along with the rest of the loom ie microphone and lighting plugs.

Yeh it's a bummer Mark. I wonder if they noticed this when putting it in and just taped it up thinking "out of sight out of mind!"

No pictures sorry but what I mean by broken is.........that it looks like it's been torn from the main loom.

    hi m8

yeah this is common problem that members have had, this can easily
happen when a windscreen is replaced as the fitter doesnt realise theres
ribbon cables are attached to the windscreen sensor till its too late and
    thats how it rips easily.

ive replaced a fair few roof looms in me time, you could try and repair it by
trying to either staple or crimp it back together but id just replace the
roof loom as there not expensive.
