    Default Poor Starting

Hi all, I have bought a 2.0 dti vectra on an 03 plate at the weekend and its been a b*tch to start from cold. Mornings or if left more than 6-8 hours. Service history says starter was replaced last year but may have been a afailed attempt to fix this.
This morning it was smoking from exhaust while trying to start and fine after it started, runs great once going and fine to start for few hours after. 1st attempt each time.

Thermostat is stuck open so ordered one of them along with temp sensor,

    So:
    1. Any idea about poor starting?
    2. Is this correct thermostat for my engine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1107443752...84.m1497.l2649 says vectra B but another website says my engine code is y20dth
    3. Does this car have a dpf?

    Cheers

Split or perished leak off pipes or worst case injectors seals are leaking, it allows fuel to drain back to the tank over a period of time causing the poor starting.

Which pipes are common to go on these and can you buy injectors seals without the injector?
Don't fancy paying to replace the injectors

ok, been reading about the leaking injector seals a bit more.

Is i not possible to remove the injectors without removing the camshaft? I don't fully understand why it has to. I've only worked on petrol engines before and cud just pop injectors out
