This is my first real mod, i changing all the grey trim to carbon fibre. Going to start on the outside but not sure how to remove the mirror body and door pillars. Can anyone help or have a link to a how 2?

Looks gd mate do they not just pop off?
To remove the door pillar trims you have to open the window and pull the inner rubber trim to reveal 3 torxs screws.
Did you use a heat gun when you did that I allways go wrong.
still to do the door trim as they're cant be removed, the rest i just pulled out. Use the wifes hairdrier, which worked a treat. I have the bug also talked myself into wrapped my full alloys..lol
