    Default Second attempt at colour coding side indicator lenses

    My first attempt went quite well until I found one would not let too much light through and probably would be a MOT failure.

    So I bought some more from Ben here on the forums. Thanks again Ben you really helped me out.

    Sanded them down and painted them again but this time was so careful not to put too much paint on. Quite a few very fine layers this time.

    I think they have come out great this time round.

    Oh and it always helps to have Ben 10 on hand when I need to take pics and dont have enough arms

    looks better ...I would strip the others and put them in the car for MOTs just incase ..thats what I do

    Thanks Soulman. That exactly what im going to do mate. MOT is this coming friday so im glad I have these done now.

    looks good to me . i also take my spare ones with me , but to date they have passed .though they seem to spend more time looking /chatting about my car than doing the mot . khalid

    Was thinking you have really small hands because the lense looks massive lol looks spot on nice job

    Thanks for the kind comment and tip. It didn't occur to me to take the others with me to the garage and ask for their opinion.

    Another job of many finshed before the Luton meet.

    Next on the list is finishing the painting of the mudflaps and cutting out some perspex lenses to cover the led light boards placed in the boot.

    Ha ha thanks mate. Also he is great at getting to them front bulbs without having to remove the front bumper. Only joking
