Belt is in one piece but it's a mess under there, it's melted to one of the tensioners by the looks...

Gonna get a belt kit and water pump for it, is there anything else I need seperatly?

Where's best place for the kit etc?

Dealers I would say m8 or Autovaux. Should be about £140-£150 for belt, tensioners and water pump.

coolant for when you replace the water pump and some sealant to put on the water pump bolts to stop it leaking and maybe a v belt if it doesnt come in the main kit

Anyone any idea what would cause thee lying to the tensioner etc...

Are the eBay kits any good? Or is it best to get GM...

It seems the only bad thing on visual inspection was that tensioner... There was a large rubber block I had to pull off, built up and melted together etc, and you can see it still had a load of layers as the belt won't sit flat on it...

What's the cost for a GM it and GM water pump?

No this was my mates, I've bought it as he was gonna strip it for parts... It's Dan_Blacksri's old one so too nice to do that.

My mate said it died on motorway so got it towed to a garage, his garage said he would need a new engine so I bought it for peanuts...
