    Vehicle : vectra c 1.9cdti 120 estate

    Trim : design

    Default

Mine has been telling me to check my reversing light for the past month - keep checking it and its ok - appreciate it could be indicating the bulb is on the way out but loathe to change it as means taking the trim off the tailgate (its an estate) to change it and its a pain getting it off

I've just about lost/broke every plastic clip on the trim and ended up using self tappers to hold it in place - you'd have thought they would have put a couple of removable hatch covers to allow access to the lights in the tailgate.

    Engine : Z18XER

    Default

As stated above you have a bulb failing
The filament breaks and then welds itself together
The canbus system detects a change in resistance and puts on bulb failure warning light
