Default eBay trust no one !!

Really ****ed off at the moment, I have been looking for a while on eBay for a steanless steel cooker hood I have seen loads but none have been near me anyway I seen one that was close to me I it said BRAND NEW cooker hood ect they espically emphasised it was BRAND NEW any way it was starting at £10 and had 6 days to go so I messaged him to say would he do a buy it now I got a one word replay £65 I messaged back and said no but thanks anyway I will keep a eye on it anyway days past the item had less than 12 hrs left and had no bidds on when I got a message saying £35 so I thought yeah deffonatly at that price so he sent me a invoice and I paid right away ( before anyone bidded to secure ) any how I couldn't pick the item up personally as Im on early shifts this week so I got my friend to collect it so he went down to get it when they said ohh erm erm which one is it we have two and the person who was dealing With it is off come back in a hour .... So I rang back he's says we have found it come and collect it ( I'm thingking ohh aye I bet I end up with the sh@@ one) any way my Mate drops it off I finish work got in had alook wtf it's far from new it has a a screw missing on the top it's minging there's a clip onthe top snapped off and the ovens funnel is scratched has paint on where it's been fixed to the wall and the power lead cable has been hacked off!!! I'm fuming ( yes part my fault for not viewing) but when you advertise as NEW you would expect new yes I only paid £35 just as well tbh and I bet it doesn't work either which I'm. Not too fussed as it's more decoration than anything else BUT I would go mental if I paid the full £65 just really pssst as how people can do this sort of thing I know a member on here had the same prob looking at car seats it's a joke just really annoyed I want to text and say what I think but it's not worth the hastle as he knows where I live sooooo in future I'm deffo going to look at things before I part with money !!

No offense, but it's that attitude why people think they can get away with it...

Other one was probably knew and picked up by someone else, I'd take it back then file the dispute jon done... Bet the guy will understand if it is the wrong one and he can just sell it again...

    Hi,
There is a procedure to follow but you should get ya money back.email seller complaining goods not as described, if you can't resolve anything Then Just complain to ebay, they will open a case up against seller usually takes 14 days.In the end Ebay will pay you back.....
