Going to look and pos buy a vec estate on a 55 plate look alright nic had alternator flexi springs and air mass replaced not for me for a mate what should I look for

Going on personal experience the dual mass flywheel is a common fault when getting to this year of car,fully depress clutch slowly to the bottom,if you feel viabrations coming through the pedal or hear untoward noises leave well alone
Also try the fan on recirculation if you hear a clicking noise coming from behind the glovebox this can be a fiddly job,also try it over speed bumps and listen for noises as the anti roll bar bushes is another problem,also exhaust back box(not cheap)

Been to see it flywheel is fine nothing wrong there it's been sitting a while so needs a very good clean had new springs flexi alternator last couple months seemed down on power I think this is due to clogged egr or boost sensor either that or cos its been sitting a while (my 150 was like this after 2 week) for £2300 for a 55 plate facelift estate with 89k I think it's a bargain

Yes seems a bargain m8,cant you get the owner down abit on price as you think its running abit flat or was 2300 is lowest price

Was at 2550 so we said 2200 he then wanted 2400 I said with the problems and needs good clean problems as running flat and needs passenger window switch as not working plugged mine in and works I said 2300

Seems a good price only just noticed its the facelift

Very good price IMO for facelift yer only a exclusive but he going to add Sri wheels steering wheel fogs trip comp prob black lights I will add photos

Yes upload some pics,ive had the 150 and the 120 and the latter does seem to be more reliable,but probably just luck of the draw

Just hoping lack power due to egr need clean and because it's been sitting a while
