Squealing from front wheels.

Thanks to the "How To" section I have had a succesful self diagnosis.

I used the how to change disc and pads thead a few months ago to change the front pads and discs on my 53 plate Vectra C.


Last week a horrible "squeal" developed whenever I drove, and got worse at high speed.


I have just had the front wheels off and quickly found the offending cause.


The caliper steady spring had worked its way loose.


Without these guides I would probably have been down to the main dealer and parted with my left arm.


So a question. Would it be advisiable to replace the springs or leave as they are. I have only done about 800miles since the change.

I have not changed my springs to date when keeping the same calipers and had no issues
