Default Fed up with marshalls ipswich a random acceleration issue..

Well another problem with the vec.

Random acceleration...... Ive checked the dash and not a cruise control issue.

1.9cdti 150. Phoned the garage since it is still in its warranty (about 10 days left) and they said it might need at ecu reset.....??? Surely they shud be checking things like turbo leakage or such?

Dont get me started with them!!!!
I brought my 2007 cdti from them, nothing from trouble, it was brand new, took 3 appointments to solve egr problem and 30k of keep going back about my dmf ,Colchester underwoods change It in the end. Oh and marshalls snapped a stud on turbo/manifold when I i asked tem to looks for the cause for exhaust gases entering the cabin. They didn't tell me they had broke it, it wasn't untill I went to underwoods with the same problem of gases entering the cabin and the smell now getting worse, underwoods diagnosed a cracked manifold and broken/now missing stud. They also informed me my aircon brackets that hold the pipes to front of car were both smashed. All in all probably the worst garage also the service reception staff are rude.
Oh also found a rachet on the wing which the bonnet had been closed on, on returning it they mearly said thanks and carried on with serving another customer!

If you have any other problems try underwoods. Rob, their chief tech Is a great guy and knows his vauxhalls.
I couldn't recommend them enough, they even give me trade discount on parts when they do my service

4 appointments to diagnose a very much failing cambelt/waterpump only took me finding out on here that the waterpump is prone to seizing around 60-80k.. We bugged them and told them i knew it was prone to going before they checked it n sheepishly rang saying theyd found the fault. Wud do alot of work myself if it wasnt under warranty.... But only 10 days left.
