I had these on my old car. They were ok in the dry but in the wet......****** dangerous! They had very little grip when cornering enthusiastically, i would not have them on a car again! But they are cheap and they last a looong time, you get what you pay for as they say!

Buy new tyres and keep this one for burn-outs, circuit use or something like that ... those tyres are really dangerous ...

I use Nankang NS2 sport and find them ok on my 18" wheels. Good grip in the wet and dry no cornering issues what so ever. I do drive my car like I stole it a lot of the time. There is a bit road noise but it's not too intrusive at all. @ £70 a corner I do think that they are good value for money.
I use 235/40/18 I'm running on eibatch pro springs with a 30mm drop which gives a firm but really smooth ride. The standard spring set up can be crash-y and enhance road noise. As well as them snapping all of the time.

I'm not sure what they are like on 19" wheels but would think road noise and comfort will suffer when running on a spam fritter tyre wall. (The very reason I went with 18" wheels myself).
Its easy to blame tyre's for the noise when running with 19" rims. Al lot of members on here change there wheel size after a while when running on 19s for that very reason.
you may want to have a re-think on your rim size. Also you may need to check your tyre pressure as incorrectly inflated rubber may also cause issues.

Well - I had Nankang (cant rememeber exact model) on my Saab that was delivering 362BHP in a front wheel drive car..
Had them on 18" wheels and couldnt fault them.. They were brilliant.. And I actually knackered a pair of goodyears on the front of the saab in a month before I replaced with these - and they were still all stroing on the car when I sold it many months later.

snowies are by far the noisiest big alloys ive ever experienced , for some reason they resonate like hell , ive have 2 other cars with 19's and 20's on that dont make half the noise the snowies do ! i reckon its a design fault

Appears to be a fw design faults with the Snowies, especially when you read about how many are having to be welded.

I take it Vauxhall have never acccepted that there is a fault with the design or manufacturer. Like another large german luxury car manufacturer, that I wont mention.... BMW, oops it slipped out.
