    Default Water marks/milky spots

    On my old runabout corsa (96 Nrg) ive got some water/milky spots appeared, obviously its not the best paint work & ive tried removing them by hand using polish & on one area t-cut but there proving stubborn, any ideas how best to remove & prevent it again.

    What colour is your car? Sounds like oxidisation which can be removed with a machine polisher, then protect and maintain with a good layer of wax on your vehicle.

    Best bet will be a da machine polisher had these on a car a detailed the da took them off then waxed to protect

    Its red!, you know that old vx one that usually fades (but mines ok ish just patchy), Ive just had one of these (link below) delivered today, Would auto glym super resin polish do the job as i have Lots!.

    What would be best to apply after (best buy as its old & trying to keep costs down), dont look bad here but pics took last year.

    I had a feeling you were going to say red lol, the old VX red is a PITA.

    SRP won't have enough cut to remove it, you will need a dedicated polish, there are several to choose from. After fixing the oxidisation a coating of collinite will see it through 6 months easily, and that stuff is cheap as chips.

    Try this same problem on the wife's punto worked a treat and really does what it says,no problems after using this few months back

    Just reading the bottom of that product, it basically says there is no cutting ability in the product. It is just a cover up product.

    Id defiantly try the SRP with machine, my neighbour has an Astra in Flame Red and even by hand SRP removes oxidisation easily.

    Well all i can say is it worked for me and the lovely white rag that i started with soon became a beautiful deep shade of pink, but hey hoe use what ever you like its only a suggestion
