Default What lead to use for steering wheel controls on aftermarket headunit ?

I'm soon to take up the task of changing my head unit for a motorised screen jobbie when I've got round to fitting my Navi unit, but am unsure which lead to use to adapt the steering wheel controls to work the new headunit in my Sept 2003 Vectra with a soon to be ex CCR 2006.

I already have an Autoleads harness adaptor from my old Vectra B just in case I need to change the ISO and I was sure that the steering wheel control was the Autoleads PC99-x06 (plus stereo model adaptor lead), but Autoleads website shows that the "'02 on" Vectra with large display requires cable PC99-045 which doesn't seem to have an adaptor for my make of stereo (if it needs one) and if you look up the leads for a Signum it shows the cable PC99-X06.

    Hi muffking

i have just fitted a new HU (alp 9850ri) and i used the VX p/n: 9163251 (this included the facia and adapter kit with the fakra aerial adapter as well)
I also bought the PC99-X06 with the PC99-ALP.

It fitted easily with the CANBUS connector on my late 04 Vec C.

The only thing I cannot get yet is steering controls working but I think it has something to do with no power too the PC99-x06.

    Hope that helps

i think you might have the wrong loom, as far as i know the only harness for the full canbus and alpine headunit is one from incartech
