very nice john. This was standard on my siggy. I think you will enjoy once fitted.
One click on the stalk and its activated. only comes on when water is sensed. It speeds up or slows down depending in how hard its raining. Two clicks and it stays on as normal 3rd click is supper fast.
I normally run on the first click raining or not. I caught the edge of a large puddle the other day while going around a corner which wet the screen. Then bingo the wipers kicked in without a thought from me.
couldn't see squat one second then clear as day the next without moving a muscle. Quite a good safety feature too

I had it fitted to my last car bud and that's why i'm doing it to this one.....I liked the auto close when it rains.

Main reason i'm doing it all is for the dipping mirror as I thought that was great on my last Vec

Looking forward to having the heat reflective windscreen

I may have a small problem......the rain sensor I bought came from a car with a normal windscreen. EPC lists a different one for the reflective windscreen. Has anyone tried a standard rain sensor on a heat reflective screen?

Yes I did John and it didn't work luckily for me autoglass fitted the reflective one with the sunvisor and changed it when the sensor wouldn't work, got the normal screen now no sunstrip but rainsensor works fine

JL & EX are for a normal screen and I was told EY is for the heat reflective screen with regards to the rain sensor.
