    Default Good timing

My car is coming up on its next service and will shortly be getting quotes

    Requires :
    Full service
    Front brake pads and discs

    Received this today :
    http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/owners_ser...e&rid=54651553
I can then add Pollen Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter
£159 for front pads and discs supplied and fitted is a fair price

Presumably their Masterfit Club isn't working, otherwise I could claim 25% discount on the standard price...

Not being funny but £100 for labour is not a fair price

Seems quite fair for 314mm pads and discs, my last receipt shows they were £90 plus 1.5 hours fitting
Even if I buy the parts separate and supply them to my local garage to fit, the overall price comes out the same

As discussed before, those days are gone now
I am now at the stage in my life where I go and do other things, pay someone else to get their hands dirty

Previously had quotes from garages and they were nearly double what VX charge for a service, even my local advised me he couldn't even get close to it; it was the price for 8 litres of GM-LL oil and the OE oil filter that killed the deal
