The front? If you look in the haynes manual it tells you how to make one up using a socket metal bar and two bolts. Don't have my manual at hand though.

I made the tool and used it on my last car for changing the clutch

I just took mine off dumped it on floor.

And then lifted it back in place after done the clutch.
    It all lined up fine.

And even a full geometry check showed it was ok

    Default

I don't think there is a ready-made tool for this; the kit that the dealers use is a huge mutha that combines the facility for lowering the subframe with the realignment requirement.

There is a small round hole on the subframe (for the bolt) and a large hole on the underside of the car...you can't really miss it.

If a member with a takes some measurements you can make the tool to the same measurements.

As long as both sides sit the same (the tool fits into both sides without adjustment) then you'll be fine.

I could take measurements off of mine tomorrow if you like. It had the subframe off for a new dmf at VX but that was 40k ago and has had a 4wheel alignment since that confirmed it's straight

Shouldn't think so bud as the hole on the subframe is right next to the wheel and the other is on the body of the car. The subframe on the facelift isn't actually that different when you look at it.
