rolleyes Algae in tail lights - any good fixes?

Hi all, my 4 year old Vectra is starting to grow green algae in the corner of the tail lights (white bit, bottom corner on the join with bumper and side panel). I have jet washed it and it doesn't touch it - as its sort of in the join of the plastic - anyone solved this one?
Looks like tail light comes out easy but don't want to attack it too much and wreck the reflectors!
    Cheers

I have the same in my 58 reg, was told by dealer it was because before i bought it the car had been standing for 6 weeks, so no air pushing through. He said once in regular use this will clear. After 1 month he was right and it has all gone.

New tail lights if you can't live with it, I tried but couldn't find a way to clean them up

Hmmm - I haven't used the Veccy much in the past few months - I have a compressor, maybe I'll git it a bit of gentle 'air treatment' (cheaper than driving to Cornwall and back!).
    Thanks RJW

Would Milon Sterilising Fluid clear it? You would have to take the lights out and swill it around a bit.
