    Default Design Ride height

I have had the front springs replaced after one of them decided it would prefer to be a coil or two shorter then when it was made.

Anyway, the car is now higher at the front then it used to be, I appreciate that the new springs should settle a bit, but after a couple of months, it still looks slightly higher then it should be.

So, does the Design model have the same suspension as the SRI, i.e. 15mm lover then standard?

    Or

Is it my back springs also need a refresh, I dont mind changing them as I will be carrying quite a bit of weight in the back (scuba diving equip) and will probably fit uprated ones.

    Car is a 2006 1.8VVTi with 46k miles.

    Thanks

Just been out and measured mine for you. It's a 2006 design 120 estate and the front from the centre of the wheel to the wing arch is 385mm, rear from the centre of the wheel to the rear quarter arch is 400mm. hope this helps.

That seems high mate can you post pics? I have eibach springs on my 2.2DTI Signum design and it is sitting at 340mm the eibach spring I went with has a 30mm drop from standard which puts the standard height at 370mm - 15mm for the design set up would be 355mm so it looks to me you might have standard springs on! the gap is also determined by the Axel weights of your specific car though.

will try to get some pics, but on the Veccy Design estate, they use standard springs, not lowered sri ones. If anyone has access to Vauxhall EPC, it tells you on there that the Design does not have the lowered sports chassis. I am sure that all Signums start out with the lowered sports chassis.

Interesting, I'm 100% sure my Signum has! does your estate have the half leather sports seats? Again my Siggy has

Yes , half leather and all the Design refinements. Veccy's in this form also had 16 inch wheels as standard, i'm sure all Siggy's had 17 inch as standard. Unfortuneatly, i upgraded my PC to win7 64 bit and discovered EPC won't run on 64 bit, so can't check stuff like i used to.

Just to add, i meant all Veccy designs are standard suspension, not Siggy's.

Yeah mine came with 17" GSI wheels as standard. I'm now running on 18" DTM wheels.
The gap between the center hub of the wheel and wheel arch is 340mm with a E10-65-011-01-22 eibach pro kit fitted.
Axel weights of 1105 front and 1080 rear.
