    Default Fitting new headlamp unit

My new headlamp arrived today (old one was all misted up).

Do I have to do anything special to fit the new lamp?

It looks as though I just need to:
    1) remove bumper
    2) remove old headlamp
    3) swap bulbs and level motor over to new headlamp
    4) fit new headlamp
    5) refit bumper

Do i have to get the beam pattern checked or anything?
Or should a set the headlamp adjusters to anything before fitting?

If you park facing a wall or fence and mark the beam pattern on it, you can adjust the new headlights to mimic the marks on the wall or fence.

    ps, your keyboard is broken.

Park a few feet away so you can clearly see the lights on the fence/wall. You need to be on dipped beam, btw. Mark the top of the beam and where the beam kicks upwards.
