Is yours the VVT or the standard 1.8 (Z18XE or Z18XER engine variants)...

I have looked into this and at best your goign to see about 15 bhp more... Not very much for what is allot of money. The other benifits is a slightly increase torque figure and a smother acceleration curve.

As I am selling my Astra VXR I am planning on taking the regal EDS IPF map off this car and moving it accross onto one of my z18xe vectras....

Cant wait to be disapointed with the results complaired to what it does on a turbo engine...

Give regal a call and speak to Karen... She deals with their tunning and it will giove yo a feel for what can be done for your engine etc (even if you dont buy it from them in the end,....).

ive re-mapped loads of petrol cars in the past and the car is always better to drive , slighty better on fuel normally too , the cost of the map initially should be your only sticking point , ive even got my 3.2 petrol merc mapped , ive gained nearly 5 mpg and much improved drivability ;-)

Out of interest, what can you get, if any, out of the 1.4 petrol?......don't laugh.
