Brilliant place, i love it and been plenty of times but always in the single days

We nearly booked a family holiday this year to Playa den Bossa(sal rossa), but Ibiza is soooo dear i thought better off it and we booked Greece. Ibiza would be my pick all the time as its a stunning island, when you venture into the hills it really is some place and you can understand why the houses are soo dear and full off celebs!!

we stayed in the sal rossa 2 years ago and it was fantastic. you walk out to the pool and your on the beach. look over to the left and you see dalt vila. walk up the beach to the right and your on bora bora beach - one of the big name night spots. up from the apartments is space night club. i can honestly say, we never heard a sound from any off them.
although, you could see what the folk on the planes were wearing as the planes were so low going over into ibiza airport lol.

i would recommend the sal rossa anytime.

im just home yesterday from cala d'or, mallorca - superb.

ass for menorca - its ok if you wana go on a saga holiday - nothing to do and extremely quiet. we stayed in santa tomas and its twinned with highgate cemetery.

Just be wary mate. Ibiza is awesome, but San Antonia is the singles/stag/****head/party capital of Ibiza! As a family you might want to consider elsewhere on the island? Take a gander at sites like trip advisor and it'll help you select somewhere suitable.

I last went there in 1991, had a cracking time, on an 18-30 holiday.. I wouldnt advise making San Antonio your location for a familly holiday.. Maybe the other side of the Island, or one of the other islands..

The bay is a massive family holiday destination, but you do get the odd rogue wild group kicking about it...

lots of good places to eat, plenty of bars and great beaches...sounds pretty good to me
