About the average speed cameras on the M90, they are definitely active.

However, opinion on the cameras has been mixed, with some Courier readers suggesting they are only there to generate revenue.

The road works, the 40mph limit and the average speed cameras are very well sign posted. If people dont speed they wont get caught and the cameras wouldn't generate any income. TBH I think a lot of people are ignorant, and although it clearly states "Average Speed Camera" on the signs people are only slowing down as they approach the cameras and treating them like Gatso's. Aww well no luck.

Even at Glasgow Airport I sit at 40mph and I still get the **** who knows better, belting past me.

I've been down that way over the past few months and guarenteed a lorry always goes past me easily doing over 40

If your like me stick to the speed limit OR if you need to go faster there is the other way (if u know what i'm talking about ) but it can be dangerous pmsl

They've only been catching speeders bud, they've not been sending out any fines. That's why it said the could've made £200,000 in fines
