    Default Signum fog surrounds fitted.

Well despite the rain I managed to get my new fog surrounds fitted ( thanks Alan) looks really good, just need a xp1 splitter now then colour code v grille then I'll be happy with front end. As for fitting them, I was out the house for less than 40 mins. 10 mins of that was spent in the car waiting for rain to stop and I also popped the boost sensor out to see how bad it was (and it was but that's another story) just followed advice from another member and using a flat blade screwdriver popped the old fog surrounds off from inside edge first working around. New ones popped right in no probs. just hope wife doesn't notice the differance haha. Will get pics when it's stopped raining. Thanks again to Allan and advice from other regarding fitting. Rob

You didn't need to pop off the front bumper in order to fit the surrounds?

No mate. I know others have removed the bumper to do this and that's put me off doing this mod for ages. But as another member posted a while ago (can't remember who it was now) I just used a flat head screedriver and a small peice of rubber mat. I started at the inside edge and gently eased them off with the runner mat behind the screwdriver so not to scratch he paint, then once enough was off just pulled the rest off with my hand took 5 mins to get off. The new ones were a little tricky to get back in. But a bit of patience and they went. Didn't take long at all. Don't be taking ur bumper off it's not necessary
