    Default cd70 and twin audio?

    would it be possible to retro fit the twin audio to my cd70?

    if so whats needed?

    Yes mine has the plug there just need the other bits 80 quid and 12 for surround roughly then tech 2

    you can also add the wiring if you don't already have it, there is an overpriced wiring repair kit from vx which gives you the plug/connector for the rear audio control with some wires which you need to extend and then join to the correct wires in the back of the CD70 quadlock connection.

    cheers lads,

    ive just tried a search using difference terms and found a very nice thread giving the wires to pin locations,

    just need to source the parts now.

    I wonder if my nav70 is plug and play theirs loads of cables taped up under the rear power socket?

    There should be a brown and green plug for the rear heated seat controls, and if there's a third grey one then it's for the rear twin audio mate. It wil depend on what wiring looms you have fitted...

    Looks like the same plug as from a pre-face rain sensor, get one from a breakers and see if it fits.
    I was thinking about doing this but as my youngest are teenagers with mobile phones I just make them use their headsets, cheaper for me and less arguing!

    yeah it is the same 1 as the early pre facelift rain sensor plug

    Sorry about jumping on this thread but I’ve just brought a Bluetooth wiring loom from a company in Germany it’s a plug and play well almost had to relocate some wires to make it work but it works perfectly the only issue is I had to use the permanent live which I’m worried about draining the battery the company had it plugged in to the twin audio for power which mine doesn’t have on a CD70 Navi is there another power supply to the radio or is it just the twin audio?
