Noob with a question!

Well, three actually!!

Hi, yesterday I bought a 53' Vectra 2.2 Elite auto.

The service book says I have a Z22 SE engine. Am I right in thinking this is the one without direct injection?

Will this have the ECO-flex automatic service monitoring system?

When I turn on the ignition, "insp" appears for a few seconds above the odometer, is this telling me I'm due a service?

Sorry for the noob questions, but then again, I am a noob!

Hi, Welcome to the forum - haven't got a clue about 1 +2, but someone else will help
To cancel the INSP light - With the ignition switched off, press and hold in the odometer button;
Whilst holding in the odometer button, press and hold the brake pedal;
Now, continuing to hold the button and the pedal, switch on the ignition;
Hold down the button and pedal until the "INSP" light stops flashing and turns to 3 dashes "---"; and
- Switch off the ignition

The light indicates that a service is due - I would check that it has been done - you'll probably find it has been done and the Insp light was not reset otherwise it may need a service.

Alright bud yes you are correct it's a non direct injection so its 147bhp not 154

I'd it's displaying INSP it's on a fixed service schedule.
