VXR Rear bumper splitter

Hi i have a 2007 sri xp vectra and am going to put to SRI tips out the back instead of just one, i know you can buy the lower splitter piece with the holes for tips each side for about £70.00 but i hear lots of talk about the VXR rear insert instead of this piece i think the vxr one has like fins coming down off it but the problem is where do i get one and i heard it will not fit onto my vectra, Is this true please help thanks

Theres vxr inserts on ebay mate for around £50

£50! cheaper to go to the dealer. I get mine from Autovaux for £39.

Mate if you have an SRi then yes the VXR insert will fit right on. The only problem you will have is your XP skirt as the VXR insert is sandwiched inbetween your bumper and your skirt so you have to relise it a little to get it in but it is doable and many have done it.

Email Kieron@autovaux.co.uk he's the guy who sorted it for my mate. The part number should be 9271537. Dont forget your dealer also, they could prove a look as you wont have to pay postage, I think the dealer charges around the £45 mark.

Just a quick question, apologies it it's already been answered....

Will the VXR insert go straight on an '03 GSI rear bumper? Is it just a case of removing existing grey/black bit around exhausts and replacing with VXR one, or does it need some modding?
