Default Advice on making D bolts?

I hope someone on here can give me some advice.

I have these D bolts for adjustable bushes but they are too short - K-Mac, the manufacturer, has accepted that they got the bolts wrong and the fitting instructions and will send me longer ones but I'm too impatient.

I've bought longer high tensile bolts but need to flatten them off into a D shape. Don't fancy going at this for ever with a file and would like it to be neat and accurate.

Any ideas how I would do this? What kind of machine would help me make a good job?

    Thanks lads.

Thanks guys. I suppose that means a trip into Inverness as I can't think of anyone who would have a cnc milling machine near me. This job's becoming a bit of an epic! Hope it'll be worth it.

Wouldn't need to be a CNC machine bud, someone with and old fashioned manual one would be perfectly suitable for a wee job like this..

If you want to be really rough then a grinder finished off with a file.
