    Default Sachs shock Absorbers

What are your opinions on Sachs shock absorbers (front). I need to fit new ones to the front, and was wondering if anyone had some info on which type to go for. Currently got Bilstein B4s.

Have the B4's worn out, leaked? I have found that I prefer the B4's over the sachs ones. I found the Sachs ones were too soft and bouncy

Had an argument with a kerb in the snow and ice back in January. It looks like the front nearside shocker has been bent or twisted. No play anywhere else.

Was just wanting opinions on different makes as there is a big price difference. I will pay whatever I need to to get it fixed, but if the different makes are of similar quality then why pay top whack?

I would put B4's back on, I think they are a better shock than the Sachs.

I got a complete set of B4's for about £230 from LMF

Just checked ebay Bilsteins are ony about £5 dearer at £138 for front pair. I think that looks a good price and at least I know what they are like.

LMF are even better £63:12 inc VAT

Defiantly and definitely are two different words with two very different meanings.
