Default Colour Coding New Style V Grill

I've bought a used chrome V-grill for my facelift veccy with the intention of colour coding it VXR style (as I already have the VXR pack 1 installed).

Is it possible to spray the chrome grill?, I presume it will need sanding down to provide a key to the surface.

Any suggestions welcome, I'm taking the car to the local bodyshop to get the damaged mirror quoted for & was going to get a quote for this aswell

all they will need to do is flat the 'chrome' plastic for a key, etch it , plastic prime it, then on with the body colour....

    dead easy to do..

peice of string.. it's all relative to how dear the bodyshop is...

My 'tame' painter would do the lot for about 40 quid...

Been quoted £30 to colour code the grill + £30 to fit = £60 total, does that sound fair?
