    Default 4 wheel alignment

Getting the alignment done 2moro at ATS in Oxford.
Had to replace the rear tyres on Saturday as they were completely
knackered on the inside edge. Replaced the upper control arms in August
last year, but anything else causing it. As far as I know its on standard suspension so not lowered at all. Hopefully all going to be ok.

I didn't know ATS would do 4-wheel alignment, thought it would be just the fronts. Fair do if they do it though.

"Computerised" probably means they use lasers to align the front wheels instead of mirrors.

That's what ATS used to do my tracking (the make of the kit used was called Lazer), and also said the rear suspension was non adjustable, but was aligned correctly anyway. Only time will tell whether my rear tyres go the same way they did before.

    Computerised :
Mechanic gets out some chalk and a measuring stick
He then puts the measurements into a calculator
Writes out an invoice "computerised alignment"

When you arrive, take a look at the equipment they are going to be using
If it is SuperTracker it is lasers

Before they start, ask if they have the display you can watch and if you will receive copies of the before and after reports
What price have you been quoted?
What is the postcode of the outlet?

The rears are adjustable for camber - but camber is exactly what they don't touch in the standard/boggo two-wheel alignment.

Having now been to the ATS website, they offer both wheel alignment and computerised alignment
    http://www.atseuromaster.co.uk/retai...-alignment.htm

For wheel alignment they are clearly doing the front only

For computerised they are putting your details into a computer and then saving them for future visits, plus you can watch as they adjust
This does suggest they are using Hunters, or similar

If it is not Hunters, try to find out whose machine it is

i used ats in hove. They have the hunter machine. Go on the hunter website and do a dealer search. Usually give you a 10% discount voucher.
