Default One of the reasons I like my 3.0 V6

Did a little motorway run last week, sat at 70 on cruise for a lot of it but also had to get around some slower moving traffic while not being a hinderance to other road users (and to cheese off the odd BMW driver).
I stopped and took this picture of the OBC, not bad for an average. I quite often check fuel consumption the old fashion way and my OBC isn't far out.

Regret massively not sticking to my guns and buying a 3.0 cdti. My mpg on my 2.2 dti auto is diabolical. Realistically only seeing around the 35 mpg average. The 3.0 seem to be much better on fuel and better performance.

Being lazy i prefer an auto, and when i was looking the 3.0 wasn't that much worse on fuel the other autos, and so far without any long runs it's showing mid 30's which is nearly double on the Lexus, and it ain't too slow either !.

I regularly get 51mpg on my BC...but it's 10mpg out (with or without the box on). Much more accurate on long steady runs.
