Default Full service, aux and cambelt change

I have my car booked in for it's 80k service, cambelt kit and Aux belt change, I have a price of £545 all in at Vauxalist in Lincoln.
I didn't think that was too bad for the Z30DT.

I'd say that was a little high , parts will be around the £200 mark , the aux belt takes 5 mins , the cam belt takes just over an hour , and the service about an hour
I'd say £345 for labour is rather excessive

Perry's of Doncaster quoted £304 for Cambelt and they do the £149 for full service or £99 for interim. I got quote from Vauxalist for full service and it was £175.

Mines due cambelt but planning on doing it myself. Anyone know best place to get parts from? Dealer or flea-bay?

    Prices from Perrys:

    Cambelt Kit - £480 - inc labour
Aux Belt - £44.40 - no additional labour charge
    Service (Major) - £140
    Total - £664

The service price started off at £99 but when he realised it was the Z30DT engine it went to £140.
Good thing about the Z30DT, you don't need to so the waterpump!

Alot of the Z30DT stuff isn't on Tradeclub mate. Last service I had done I bought all the bits and the oil, all with discount etc and it still cost me £150.The waterpump on the 3.0 isn't like the 1.9 one, apparently it rarely, if ever seizes.

Does it run off the cambelt?
If it does I would not be taking any chances
