Cool Colour Coding my moulded Mudflaps :Project Started

    Evening all

Been busy today painting all sorts of stuff and once that was done it was time to start on one of the four mudflaps that have been painted black sapphire then glossed and hardened for about two weeks.

So far I have only managed to finish one as its somewhat time consuming but worth it when you look at the finish. God my arm aches though

    Hope you like it.

The first three pics are before wet sanding with 2500 grit. As you can see the gloss does need a lot of sanding to get smooth

The next three pics are after wet sanding then attacking it with :-

    1. AG Paint renovator
    2. AG Super Resin Polish
    3. AG Ultra Deep Shine (Great on black paintwork)

Im hoping to get these ready and fitted for the Luton Meet on the 5th May.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, phone camera without flash at the moment.

hahhaha I would never get away with that as she had a nose like an elephant, well I mean in smell sensitivity not size she would smell the paint a mile off!

    Thanks for the tip though.

Wow it stopped raining so I took the oppotunity to get the rest of the mudflaps glossed.

Came out better than expected apart from a few paint runs on the edges. Will sort that out as I need to sand these in 3 days time and bring back to life with AG products.

Just have to source some 2500 grit sand paper as Halfrauds only now stock up to 1500 grit for some odd reason. Well at least thats what the High Wycombe and Welwyn Garden City branches said when I asked for it.

    Hope you like them
