    Default airbag problems

    hi all ive been told ive got problems with my airbags could someone help me out plse the codes are b0020 (0e) and b0051 (00) any advise thank you

    Firstly check the obvious connections. The ones under the seats incase they have been knocked. They both seem to be related to the passenger side deployment module.

    anyone no what this means and what to do to fix plse code b0051 squib circuits activated (crash) ive just found out my car was in an accident and i didnt no should ov hpi before i bought it

    B0051 just means the airbag system has been activated... tech2 MAY be able to clear that one possibly.... but P0020 you need to get sorted,

    B0020 Passenger Airbag Squib Circuit

    i dont think its the one in the seat.. it may well be the one behind the dash on the passenger side (not sure on this) and it may have had a new dash fitted...

    In either case what you need to do to get it rectified is to find out for sure which airbag had deployed, get that replaced, and then get someone with tech2 to clear the crash data..
    Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services

    thanks for reply will the module need resetting and ive just been and checked the dash looks like its been out.

    Tech2 may be able to do it, if not the Airbag ECU will need to be sent of to be reset

    thanks for the advice guys i took glovebox out pulled airbag clips of and back on again and undone under passanger seat clip and it all sorted now air bag light off thanks again
