My car is dead

I think I'm coming into a run of bad luck. My 2.8T Siggy was down 12bhp yesterday when it went on the rollers at CC tuning. On the way home my dash dials died then came back to life. and then this morning it wouldn't start, battery dead as a dodo.

The power loss could be due to the fact that my cat is on its way out. Hopefully the dials are cos of a dirty fuse no.17 God knows why the battery drained, hope the alternator ok and it's just a one off, but I doubt it

I think I used all my luck up yesterday when I won an Irmscher Quad exhaust complete with Y piece for £104.00

sounds like an Alternator jobby ...

I'd say it isn't the alternator.... unless you've had the battery light coming on? Mine was coming on for months before the alternator went.

How do you know your cat is on the way out? I presume you mean your main cat also and not your first cat?

Got the battery on charge as we speak. Hopefully that will get me to work and back. Then I'll get things tested tomorrow afternoon.
