    Default Trouble compressing rear caliper

In the process of changing rear pads, passenger side the caliper pistons whiizzed back in with no issues but the drivers side ones wouldn't budge untill i'd opened the bleed (note these are not std calipers so no fangled caliper tools required)... I'd read that this could be a collapsed hose but they're only a couple of years old(braided) and the caliper itself appears to work/release correctly... any ideas?

The rear pistons need winding back so no idea how you managed to just push the other one back.

    Not standard calipers Lee

If Ok with nipple open, it has to be the brake hose. Usualy the brakes would bind, when hot.

they don't seem to be locking in pressure(apart from when i want push the pistons back).. caliper seems to release ok when i come off the pedal.

What callipers are they as 90% of callipers that use the calliper for the handbrake wind back.

Others I have seen there is a an Allen key you need to unwind on the back of the calliper.

they're hi-spec billet 4's (4 pot with cable operated hydraulic hand brake). I asked the manufacturer when i ordered the pads whether it was a simple(or not lol) push pistons back in.
