Driving back from shops yesterday I had code 3 popup on dash but didn't give it a second thought as its been on a few times but checked water level and it's been fine (park on slight hill so presumed it was this)
Anyway just pulled up outside house and there's smoke coming from front of car and coolant everywhere
Called Vauxhall breakdown as I have gold service plan and they came out and asked me to start car (at this point we had heavy rain, thunder and lighting) seems when car revs it's chucking water out from a plastic component to right of engine block.
He told me to ring up Monday to get car uplifted to garage as he couldn't fix it and didn't know what part it was leaking from. After speaking with Dean (plasma) he checked EPC ( cheers Dean ) it looks like the oil cooler has either cracked or a hose has failed.
Warranty ran out on 21st jan and was on my to do list been busy up and down to my dads and hospital so forgot.
My thoughts ATM are it may be something to do with dealership not connecting hose correctly or maybe damaging something when they did gearbox.
Has anyone dealt with Vauxhall when they have just ran out of warranty by a few months ? Hoping I don't get stung with a big bill
