    Default Irmscher Spring Replacement

I've just removed one of the rear springs on the IS3 Signum to get at the upper control arms (new bushes) and found the spring has broken - just sailed through the MOT a couple of weeks ago! So, MORE EXPENSE!

Question is what to replace them with.

Ideally Irmscher to keep it all the way it was but even just a pair of rears are £210!!! Whole sets of other makes are available for much less and then I'd have spare fronts for when they go.

What do you think of Eibach, Spax and PI which are cheaper. Any other suggestions - scoured the internet to see if I could get any pairs of rears but lowering springs are only sold in full sets.

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

H&R's Andrew, got Eibachs on mine but not overly impressed TBH. Would you need stiffer/stronger ones due to towing the 'van??

You're probably right Steven that it's been the towing which has weakened them. I'll look into H&Rs.
