got a problem with the heater system some how...
started off with only the number 1-3-4 on the heater working.
so i replaced the green fuse thing and made no differance..
now it has packed up all together. nothing what so ever...

wouldnt if anyone local could come round and tell me what i need to do

Am free in the afternoons then off Wednesday. you would have to come to me as am in the middle of putting my new seats in. But feel free to try things. Are you getting any water comming in the passenger footwell? Could be the fan or resister.

Hi ive just noticed this and have had a problem with my heater in my elite the heater stopped working with a small amount of smoke coming out of the vents then and strong smell of something burnt and now i have the water coming into the passengers footwell would you kow what that is as you mentioned it here??

theres no water in footwells. i also just recently change the resistor pack, but gonna check soon to see if its come loose or something,

ok its fixed..........

i brought a new resistor pack and fitted it...... it didnt change a thing.......
still only worked on 1 and 4........
then it stopped working completly...... so i put the old resistor pack back in... and it works on 1 and 4...... brought a new heater control unit.....

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all working again

Scuttle blocked in engine bay under pollen filter. Water comes in through heater matrix. Expensive job if you do not clear the scuttle
