Ello iv got myself a vectra c 2.2 Sri 52 reg and i put 35watt hids in my car and when it is running and lights r switch off the hid flash and I dnt no y they r ok when they r turn on so can any one help me plz

It is normal for them to flash when you first turn them on and gradually get brighter. Dont know about when it goes off though. I can remember when i first had them installed i switch them on in a car park, it flashed i thought both the lights blew lol as there wasn't much light coming through lol, then realise that was normal

You need cancelers fitted. The Vectra C has a check bulb system which always sends a pulse always checking bulbs. With little power to run the HIDs they power up with every pulse. You can do 2 things. Add a pair of cancelers (I have a spare set) or Tech2 the car to tell it that xenons are installed.
