De-badgeing (silhouette)

I've de-badged the rear of my Vectra today, there is a slight silhouette with the griffin badge but I havent taken wax to it yet and I'm sure it will go after the wax. Where I've tooken the letters and digits off the chrome strip you can still see the outlines of the digits and numbers. How do i get these remaining lines out? Would brasso do the job?

Some Autoglym Super Resin Polish should do the trick
