Hi guys, I hope someone can help me here, iv just refitted a new wing and bumper to my Signum and have found 2 unplugged wires at the front of the car and also a socket that has seemingly never been used and im wondering what theyre for. My thoughts were that they might be for foggies and if so is it just a case of plugging in front foggies or is there more to it?

    Cheers,

    Ed

Front foglights. Does yours have the 4 buttons on the headlight switch? If it does and the light comes on on the dash when you press it yes it should be plug and play. Maybe yours had had a replacment bumper at some point and foglight were just not added.

Or level indicator for the power steering. You can see there is a space for one on the pump but I will go with front fogs as well as I don't think it can reach looking at the picture

Its only the 3 button headlight switch, if i were to replace that unit is there any reprogramming needed or would the new unit be enough to get the lights working?

Its never that easy im afraid. You also need a fusebox that supports front foglights fitted, and then a tech2 session. I am still on this quest at the moment. Picked up my 3rd fusebox this week, the proper fusebox has a built in module. You can of course fit a switch to the dash and wire up the front fogs, using that loom, and do it the old fasioned way with a realy, which is what I have at the moment.
